After several requests, I decided to teach a small Intro to Photography class. I only took on 2 students so that I could get a feel if this was something I wanted to continue with and to also see if I was any good at teaching
I think the class went really well and hopefully the ladies will chime in and give their opinion. It was a lot of fun and I may start offering these several times a year if there is enough interest. If you think you would like to take a photography 101 class, give me a call or send an email and we will set it up! This is something brand new for Atlanta Photo Studio so pricing and schedule of classes is still in the works. Email for more details. I like being able to give you one on one attention so classes will be limited to no more than 5 people.
Please note that this is a basic beginner, one day class for people who just want to learn more about their new DSLR camera and take better photos. The goal is to get you off the safety of auto mode and find some more creative ways to shoot!
Here are the ladies hard at work!

I can’t say enough about the both of you and how wonderful you both are! You have documented the most important moments of my life beautifully! I have been so eager for a photography class and was thrilled when you decided to do this! I went from feeling completely lost to feeling pretty stinkin “camera educated” when I left! You did fantastic with all the info and actually getting to practice was even better! I really do feel more comfortable holding my camera and knowing what everything is! You rock! I hope to do another one with you! Hoping to have some things for you to critique soon…of course it’s of Lucas! Thank you so much!!
I was one of Carmon’s students and I couldn’t be happier. When I went to her class I had no clue about…anything. She tought me so much in just one day. Within the first few minutes I honestly already thought…Money well spent. She went over everything and didn’t move on till she felt we were comfortable. I loved that it was like a class room setting yet super hands on when we went to the park. I feel so much better everytime I pick up my camera and I felt so inspired when I left her class. I hope she will continue to educate people and I am going to be the first person in line!
