My wife is from Anderson, South Carolina. She was raised around music all her life. So during our last visit back to Anderson, her aunt and mother took us to a local bluegrass hangout. This old grocery store was turned into a Saturday night meeting house of music. What we saw and heard was phenomenal. Young, old everyone is welcome to play.
Breazeale’s is open from 6:30pm to 11pm and there is no cover. I think I spent a grand total of 4 dollars on drinks. In these hard times how often do you see that?
So if you find yourself near Anderson, SC and want to hear some great bluegrass music. Checkout Breazeale’s Grocery Bluegrass. It’s well worth it!
Enjoy the pictures! We enjoyed taking them.
Loved the pictures. You captured the feel of this place; I can almost hear the music.
Thanks.

Love them! What a fun and different thing to photograph!
Those pictures were absolutely stunning! It’s almost like being there… Awesome job..AGAIN!
We had a great time at this jam. Dan & I brought the two young girls that are so musically talented. We have a large Bluegrass Jam in Pumpkintown SC every Friday night. No charge but donations help support the YAM (Young Appalachian Musicians) currently in two schools here. We’re having a concert Friday, Feb. 13th at Pickens High School. Wayne Henderson & Helen White are awesome and these proceeds will go to YAM also. Come join us. Thanks, I love the pictures Norma
